Shamanism

What is Shamanism?

Shamanism is an ancient spiritual practice whose practitioners transcend ordinary reality to bring about profound healing in their patients. For thousands of years, shamans have served their communities to bring about health and healing, therefore ensuring the survival of the tribe. The job of a shaman is to assist people in finding harmony, emotionally, spiritually and physically both internally and with their environment. Falling out of balance in any of these domains is what shamans believe creates states of dis-ease.

Since the 1970s, Shamanic practices have been slowly migrating from their original indigenous homes and into the West.  This is a time of transition for the species, and shamans the world over are stepping up at this exciting time. Changing the world always begins with changing oneself, and healing one’s own personal wounds. As more people address the pain of their past conditioning and rediscover their power, the collective heals.

… and a new world is born!
